BEDA: Someone who Inspires me

So I decided to make a lot of themed posted like this for BEDA.

Someone who inspires me

Drake

Now I can already smell the eye rolls.

Don't get me wrong, there are an insane amount of people who inspire me. Drake is by no means the only one and definitely not the one who inspires me the most. However he is who I will write about today :)

Drake, for me, is such an inspirational person, and he is Canadian!

I watched him when he was on Degrassi like back in 2003!, and he was a pretty decent actor, I actually wish that he would go back down that road and do a few movies or something :)

Anyways he obviously worked really hard to get where he is today and I think that it's really amazing to go from Degrassi to like, one of the biggest names in Rap music.

In addition to that, his lyrics really can make my day. The things he talks about, even if the overall message doesn't really relate to my life at all, I always hear certain phrases that when I hear I'm like YES!! Exactly!!, or whatever.

When i hear some of his songs, for example, Ready for you, I really feel like I want to go out and just say Screw the World!! I find his songs, for the most part, to be really empowering. Usually they really make me feel like I'm a stronger person, like I can do anything and that no one can stand in my way, and sometimes we all need that uplifting. 

For me music is more then just beats. I mean when I'm out dancing that is what it is but when I'm at home or whatever I need music that has soul. Music has probably gotten me through more then any other method of therapy, and in the last year or more it's Drakes music that I turn too first.

Also, the fact that he can sing AND rap is really awesome.

He also is always putting like one liners on his twitter and I really love them, he is very deep and insightful. To me, he seems like someone who really knows about life, and has experienced a lot. If you read my last blog (the one when I was in Japan) I often quoted him, and I made a post dedicated to quotes from him. I was prretty much living off of his quotes while I was in Japan, due to crap that happened and I was feeling really down for a few weeks, he was all that I listened to. 

Anyways.

Drake is really someone who I think is amazing, and his lyrics make me feel so empowered.

And that is why he inspires me!
